I can't pay too, when I enter my password, it just freezes and the wait circle is still there. Anyone experiencing this?

It took me at least six times to pay for something in the last few days. It wouldn't process. We seem to have a problem processing your request. Finally, it worked. This was a BIN item that I might have lost had someone else got through check out when it wasn't working for me.

And ebay want to take over managing payments lol. If they are swamped with calls you know their support reps are telling buyers to call Paypal and telling seller that the issue is it is summer and they need to change the items they are selling lmao. It would just be stupid to set up test servers and run their changed in a virtual environment before sending them live. They actually have test environments for drop sellers to use to make sure their payment and ordering systems are working properly before sending their listings and stores live. seams like the obvious thing to do is use the same systems and ask some long time users and buyers to test the changes out in advance so as not to risk losing revenue. While they may not care about sellers losing sells they also are losing final value fees which makes up a good portion of ebays revenue.

I've purchased items & all fine till I get to checkout the just says error occurred try checkout again keep trying but just repeats that quote 😡

Have been getting the same message for a few days now:
Unfortunately, we can't process this payment. Here are your options:
- Double-check your card details and billing address.
- Call your card provider. There might be a hold on your account.
- Select a different payment option.

I changed payment method from Debit to Credit Card. Although this has not solved the issue, because I am still unable to make a purchase using my debit card, at least I am able to clear the Ebay Checkout.

I have spent 4 hours on the phone with Ebay Helpdesk situated in the Phillipines and they were unable to solve my problem, of not being able to use my debit card. We went through every possible scenario, without fruitful result. Eventually, the Supervisor said he would pass the information along to the engineering dept.
My opinion is that this issue has somehting to do with the recent change in format of the Checkout page. (Notice the question at the top right hand corner of attached image: "How do you like our checkout?")
What does that tell you?

I just got off the phone with my banking institution, and was informed by an agent, that she heard from one of her supervisors that Ebay is currently having technical problems with PayPal.
So, I am happy to note that I am not the only one experiencing this problem.

I'm going through the same **bleep**. This really sucks.
I'm already starting to get non paying bidder alerts and my feedback record is spotless.
