Problem with BUYING GUIDES- editing and picture uploads

I've only written one guide, but I'm proud of it. Now it needs to be updated, and I also want to add some images (JPEG) from my computer. The written part updated fine, but I can't get the pictures to upload. It freezes up every time.  Is there some secret process, am I doing something wrong, or is the whole system just totally buggy?

The big majority of users are having this problem, and it unfortunately seems like eBay might not care.

Contrary to the above post, adding images to Guides still have issues.
