good afternoon, just to clarify this a little for everyone, and to help smooth out any other problems you will need to:
step
1 - set printer to "DYMO LabelWriter 4XL"
2 - under "Page Sizing & handling set custom scale to 90% (as seen in picture green square)
3 - Set orientation to "Portrait" any other setting will not work. (as seen in the blue square)
4 - go to "page setup.." as seen in the red square, and set that to "1744907 4 in x 6 in"
5 - print

From the eBay shipping page click on Printer and Receipt Preferences at the upper right. If you are using 4" x 6" labels select the Zebra 2844, 4x6 format. If you are using the smaller 99019 labels, select any Dymo printer format.
When the print window opens set the Target Printer to the Dymo 4XL. If the window is the new PDF window, set to Actual Size, and Auto Orientation.

Those extra adjustments are not needed for USPS labels, although it will work. All that is needed is to set the eBay format to the Zebra 2844, which the Dymo 4XL is compatible with.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the newest Windows 10 update nuked the Zebra 2844 driver I was using and I can't get it to print correctly. I am thinking of buying the Dynamo to get rid of the stress of Windows 10 updates causing problems with unsupported drivers. Valid strategy? Any advice welcome.

You don't need the Zebra driver, you only need to set the eBay format to the Zebra 4x6 label size.
You will of course need the Dymo driver, which is contained in the Dymo Label Software that came with your printer. Although it also is a free download on the Dymo website.
You also will want to make sure your browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader, so the label preview opens in an Adobe print window.

Thank you. One further question. There are 2 2844, 4x6 listed an LP2844 and a TLP2844. Will they work the same? I'm assuming the T stands for Thermal

I just use the LP2844, but the other likely will work as well.

danabernathy.............When you create an ebay label at the upper right of the page, click on Printer and Receipt Preferences. The label format selection for the LP2844 is there.

I'm glad there is such a thing as a return policy. This thing is stupid.

I've been using the Dymo 4XL for about three months and I love it. Smaller and cheaper than a Zebra 2844, more versatile (can use it with any Dymo size/shape label), and Dymo keeps the drivers up to date. I'm using it on a Mac with OS X, but I'm sure it would be the same under Windows 10.

After setting to the Zebra 2844 option, it also has a box about printing one label per page. Should that beselected as well? Thanks.

window 10 and dymo4XL can't print 4"x6" labels.
