Printing Labels with Firefox

I'm not really having a technical issue but more of an inconvenience and just wondering if there is a way to make it more like Chrome.

When i purchase a label in chrome, it takes me to the purchase confirmation page (or whatever it's called) and automatically pops up the label and the dialog box to print. Nice, easy and convenient, all in 1 tab. But in Firefox after it takes me to the purchase confirmation page, then i have to click "Open Label" manually, then it pops up in a new tab, then i have to click print to bring up the print dialog. Not as convenient.

Sure i could simply just use Chrome, but i opened a second ebay account and i wanted the second one to be open in Chrome at all times and i wanted the one where i print labels to be in Firefox at all times. I know it's just a minor inconvenience but thought i would see if there if there is something in Firefox that needs to be configured or something.

Using Firefox, there is a section of the Options that includes a table of which sorts of documents can be opened in the browser or using another application. You may be able to have .pdf files open in Firefox, be downloaded, or else open in Adobe Acrobat or another .pdf reader.

In some cases, opening a .pdf in a browser may not work, or may require some sort of additional plug-in to function correctly; opening in Adobe Acrobat seems to work most consistently. Try different options to see which you prefer.

Note that there are two separate entries: "PDF File" and "Portable Document Format" in that table; I am not sure what the precise distinction between them is, but you may have to change one or both to get the desired result.

Thanks i will try that for next time. I unfortunately did not see "PDF File" on the list and only "Portable Document Format". I don't use Adobe, i use a program called PDF-XChange Editor.

I just tested it out by going to my shipping labels page. It does open the label in my PDF program but it doesn't do it automatically, i still have to click Open Label and it takes as much time or longer than doing it in Firefox. But i do like having the alternative.
