Please Fix The Tracking Issue, Don't Need any Defects!

Just a Heads Up for eBay Sellers That Use Tracking:

I always use tracking when I ship my items to keep my Top Seller Rating and to prevent potential disputes with unscrupulous bidders who claim they did not receive an item when they did.

I am currently at 100% as far as loading the tracking info on time.  Seems that will soon change to no fault of my own.

Anyway.  In the last 24-48 hours eBay updated the software.  I often print shipping labels on my phone.  When a buyer purchases multiple items the eBay App does not have a Create Shipping Label button.   I go to a specific sale and print a single label from the End of Auction  e-mail eBay send me when I make a sale.  I would then add the Tracking Numbers to the additional items.  With the new Software eBay WILL NOT ALLOW US to add the tracking numbers to the remaining items.

If you make 10 sales 1 will have the Validated Tracking number while the remaining 9 will be treated as defects!   Not COOL!   This is the message I keep receiving:

This tracking number is already associated with another active shipment

eBay really needs to get it's Bandini Together!

I use ebay on a computer.  When I use the bulk shipping option, ebay gives me a choice to combine orders.  This way, that one tracking number is associated with all the items combined.  That option has been available to me for years.  I don't know about the mobile app.  You might try asking on the appropriate discussion board:

Had the same problem after combining purchases. No longer able to add the tracking number to other items and the 'tracking never uploaded' ding has already hit my Dashboard results. (Home computer use.)

I can add a tracking # in PP. It later populates to eBay.

What happens if you go into PayPal and add the tracking on their side. A few times when eBay labels was down I used PayPal to purchase the label and it populated on eBay's end.

I had a multiple purchase yesterday but it got a single order number and both items came up when purchasing the label through the orders page in the hub. I have noticed some times if buyers make multiple purchases if the items get different order numbers then tracking will have to be added after the initial item gets the label. I think this may have something to do with the buyer buying multiple items on a mobile device that does not get a cart option for multiple purchases.
