Photos of fixed repaired Good until Cancelled listings disappearing again. Hold time is 30 minutes.

We fixed a few hundred listings last month. It took me a week to use the cached method that some smart Ebayer figured out and they were all fixed. After rerunning the fast scan photo tool we now have double the amount of listings with missing photos since last month. Is this intentional, as some sort of mobile marketing update or new trial tool?  We need to know as sellers why this keeps happening to us and why nothing seems to be getting done to help us. We are already so busy jumping through ebay trs hoops trying to keep our numbers good that these additional hours will destroy our businesses if this glitch is not permanently fixed.  Any ideas? The 21st through the 24th of the month is coming, and we are fairly certain that the ebay photo listing goblin is going to strike again. What do we do? What would you do? Check your listings with the autoscan tool and figure out which listings are missing photos. If you are a GTC seller then you are undoubtedly affected by this tragedy.

Photo scanner link tool. This is a neat and useful tool. Any thoughts, ideas or solutions? Please feel free to share?

There have been a couple of threads about this.

First off from some reports there are instances where the GTC listing gets "corrupted" and this was in some way tied to listings that lost pics the second time around.  Of course there's no real proof, just some 3rd hand CS comments.  But, you could use Sell Similar to relist those listings that were affected the second time around.  Not ideal, but a workaround.

Also several people reported simply ending the listing a few hours before the 30 day reset clock and then immediately doing a straight relist to reset the clock prevented their items from losing pics.  Again, 3rd party hearsay, but a possible workaround.

Did this get fixed?  Probably.  Will it reappear due to poor code management by eBay?  Very likely.
