Photos not loading and editing on ebay site not saving when finished x 1 month

Hi there, just wondering if anyone is having this issue?  I use the new listing tool, upload photos from my mobile and have been doing this for 6 months with no issues.  For the last month I have had trouble with this.  I get the link on my phone, take the photos, and finish up and close out the app after saying I'm done and hit "got it" on my computer browser ( chrome on a mac) and the circle just spins and spins with no photos uploading.  I know I uploaded them because they finish on the phone draft.  So then I have to refresh the chrome page and then the photos come up.  When I edit them with cropping or whatever on the listing tool, and finish the listing I can't hit the list it button, it does nothing.  I then have to refresh the page AGAIN and the photos reload as all unedited and I have to start over with the cropping etc.  Only then after two rounds of the same editing, can I hit the list it button and it begins to send the listing live.  I am not sure if its my computer or browser or what?  I've done the obvious things like clearing caches etc but it doesn't seem to improve, taking twice as long to list something.  Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?  Thanks in advance!

I have trouble with the ebay photo editing too. I'm working off of a computer and not a phone but I don't think that matters.  When I edit the listing photos, sometimes the screen just blinks and reverts back to the unedited pictures. Also, if you are changing the title or description while waiting for the photos to finish, when the "blink" happens the description also changes back to whatever it was before. This is so frustrating and time consuming. I sometimes get to the point where I just stop tiring to fix the photos and list anyway. I have had this issue for some time, whenever the new listing format started. I was hopping they would fix this long before now. I kind of think it is getting worse rather than better.

yes this started for me back in Jan and its still happening although not as frequently as before but it is very time consuming.  Same thing, photo edits don't keep or not all of them keep and it changes the other edits too.

I still have issues with:

1. Editing price on ebay.com - doesn’t change/stick - i reported that,ultiple times without correction ( ipados 16.3.1/firefox- ipad pro 12”)

2. Multiple drafts are being created of one item (using option sell simillar or relist)

3 staying signed in option won’t work an dam being kicked out to relogin every 20 min.

3. Search for item in my own store won’t work

4 search on main ebay search is broken- produces 0 results

Came here looking for this very topic. I've been having trouble for over a week. Any Ebay pages load so slowly but trying to make a listing is almost impossible. The page wants to refresh itself almost every 15 seconds and doesn't save what I just uploaded or typed in. So I have to load one picture at a time (which I pre edited on my computer photo editor because ebay's isn't loading) ..if I try to upload more than 3 pics at a time it takes 10 to 15 minutes to load them...one at a time isn't too bad.....and hope I can get that done before refresh wipes them out. Then I save to draft...come back in...make title...and save to draft again...and repeat until I have all the steps for the listing done....so frustrating. It is taking me 30 minutes ...to all day depending on how bad the problem  is.....to make a listing that shouldn't take more than 2 minutes...and some days it has taken me all day of giving up and coming back later just to get one listing done.

I did all the thing I have seen suggested on forums like cleaning out cookies and history on computer, trying a different web browser, etc....and at first I thought it was a time of day thing because it seemed I could list faster in the wee early am hours...but now it's just an ALL DAY PROBLEM.

I just signed up for an Auctiva account hoping I could list faster that way...but learning curve on how their site works lol... why can't anything be user friendly ???

I know Ebay is a BIG site and has issues that can't be helped sometimes...but would be nice to get some communication from them. Instead of me having to search out what is going on. Took me 3 days to find this post...and at least it made me feel better that it's not just me...so maybe the problem will get fixed soon ???

I’m having the same issue in the last few months.  Holy crap the date of the other comments is 2023!  I’ve had No issue for years before on mobile. If it’s a new listing, you can at least save the draft and come back to list it. The photos all display visually but say they’re not done loading. The maddening thing is when you are modifying an existing listing, you can’t save a draft of it and if you leave the tab up and come back it will time out or continue with the same message. So you have to redo everything over and over. 

One note since I’m here, on mobile I also get a Photos error when there are pics it doesn’t like (usually a size issue) but no indication which ones. Workaround is go to the draft in desktop and that error shows the exact photos that need to be modified vs the guessing game on mobile. 

But this photos uploading in 2025 is ridiculous and a new problem and makes it impossible to add photos to an existing listing. How do we get that FIXED?

I have been having the same problem for two weeks now (October 2025). I am not tech savvy enough to figure out if this is an "extension" issue, an outdated Firefox and/or Chrome issue. I start typing my auction listing on my desktop. I hit "upload from mobile" to get my photos. I can SEE the photos uploaded into the  auction listing ON MY phone but no photos appear on ebay open on my desktop. I NEVER had this problem in 25 years. I press the "GOT IT" button in the box on the screen on my desktop. NOTHING HAPPENS. I press the "X" in the box on the screen on m desktop. NOTHING HAPPENS. I have to continually leave ebay, come back in, and then go to drafts to finish my auction listing. Very frustrating and time consuming. Is this on MY end or this an ebay glitch that no one has  fixed yet? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the exact same issue. Can't click on Got it. Can't click on the X to close the dialogue box. The only way to proceed is to refresh the page. It's not on your end or mine. It's an ebay issue as others are experiencing it too.

well I posted this in 2023 and I am STILL having the issues.  It stopped for a while but is now back and started late sept. 2025.  And it is still happening today...so annoying!
