I have used the same method of editing and uploading photos from my iPad for years. With the new update, I cannot upload photos from my iPad app at all. No reason or error code is given. I can assume sizing issue but these photos have been used for 10-20 years with no issues.
I have thousands of photos and each item is handmade. I cannot possibly recreate my entire inventory and then try to photograph every single item to new specs. Is this a glitch that will be fixed? Any suggestions for resizing on an iPad (if possible and if that’s the issue). Sooo frustrated right now.

Are you able to load the images using a browser instead of the app?
The problem may be with the app itself. What operating system version and app version are you using?

I am using the latest eBay update and the latest iPad update. I haven’t tried using a browser yet. I rarely use the browser except for reports semi-annually so it’s unfamiliar and a clunky way for me to work. I am really pressed for time overall, especially to upload new items and using “sell similar” with a few taps has always my workflow and the most efficient.

The latest updates to your specific device can be different from the latest updates to a newer model iPad. This is why it's important to specify your operating system version and your eBay app version.

eBay version 6.198.01
ipadOS 18.3.1

The photos work fine on the browser so it’s an app issue.

What happens when you try to upload a photo. Spinning wheel? Something else?
Is it different if you upload a single photo instead of a batch of photos?

If you try to load an image using a browser, the result may help to indicate whether the the problem is with your images or with the app itself.

In that case, it might be worth uninstalling the app, restarting your iPad, and then installing the eBay app again. The restart in between should ensure a clean install. If the problem was with a previous installation, that may help.

Literally nothing happens. I have tried it both ways. I am going to try and uninstall as suggested.

I will try this. Thank you!

This didn’t work. It will load every random photo but the ones I need to load. Now I get a message that says they are too small but the pixels definitely exceed the required minimum. Not to mention, the browser takes them with no complaints. 🤷♀️

That would seem to point to an issue with the photos themselves; not necessarily the actual size, but something else, possibly. It might be worth trying entirely new photos.
