Photo Editing had not worked since last week

Whenever I use the crop out the background/whitening tool, it no longer allows for hand edits like erase or fill-in. All of my scheduled listings are on hold now because I can no longer edit my photos properly to remove the backgrounds. When will this be fixed? It’s been a week now. Ridiculous

Having the same problem, myself. I thought it was just me, something wrong on my end.

Have you ever resolved this issue? Mine is still not working properly. I still don’t have the eraser/paintbrush option for editing the background.

I don’t have the eraser/paintbrush tool to use.  It doesn’t even show up as an option for me.

Agree! Why would the photo editor become worse not better? I understand if the goal is to make the tools quicker and easier to use; but by removing specific capabilities, you are hamstringing sellers.   I am hoping this is a temporary glitch and not a choice by eBay? If it is a choice, it is a counterproductive one.  That was one of my favorite of the recent upgrades to eBay, was the ability to  remove the background but when the background was not properly deleted, you could fill it back in or remove the odd obtrusion. Come on eBay, can you put it back to how it was please? thank you!

I have the same issue, I have called three times about this and Friday I was on the line with a agent recording my draft as I was trying to edit, 45 minutes and he gave me a ticket number but today it's worse. Now I have big black lines running through a great image. Get it together eBay. The brushes were a great addition to the editor and they remove it with a update.

I have had no paintbrush or eraser for over six weeks. This is getting ridiculous.

Yeah it’s crazy, they made background removal button work better than it did but took away the eraser and paintbrush and it is leaving spots on the background I can’t remove. I’m glad they made it remove more but give us back the eraser and paintbrush please!
