Paypal Checkout Problem

Hi,

I've recently won an auction for which I have to make my payment and receive the item.

However when I choose Paypal and login, even though my card information is saved in Paypal and my Paypal account linked to my Ebay account, it asks for me to fill out card details again. I do that, and press add, it goes on processing a little bit then nothing, same screen without any notifications or anything.

 

Does anyone know what the problem might be ? Any possible solution ideas ?

I see you are registered in Turkey, and it appears you have not received feedback in at least a year.

 

Are you able to sign in to PayPal directly and check to make sure all your information there is up to date?

 

If you are having problems updating your card information in your PayPal account, try another browser to see if that makes a difference. Try disabling any common extensions or add-ons such as ad blockers on PayPal or eBay's checkout page.

 

Has anything about your network changed since the last time you used PayPal to purchase something on eBay? Different network? Different location? Using a VPN?

 

Sometimes using "One Touch" auto-login in PayPal can help with check out issues. You can activate that in Settings under Security.

Hi there,

 

Thanks for your reply, I've checked and tried all of these tbh, I've been searching topics all day, tried different browsers, VPN One Touch etc.

 

I am using a UK Paypal acc btw with my UK card, normally it would directly let me proceed after login and confirm payment, be done with it.

 

I really don't get what may be the problem, only if it would give some kind of notification but no, nothing.

 

I even added a second credit card to my account to see if it would work but no...

I see now you are registered in the UK, though previously your profile said you were registered in Turkey. And at one time you were registered in France.

 

Try checking out without using a VPN -- PayPal has issues with many VPNs.

 

Have you tried checking out on whichever site you originally registered on, or where you are located now?

 

Is your seller new to selling? Does the seller actually ship to your location? It is possible the seller has not set up the account properly to receive a payment from your bank.
