I am frustrated beyond words. What is wrong with Ebay these days! Because of a glitch in their system, it keeps my account on a continuous loop of asking me to update my information. In the meantime, it also states that my funds are on hold until I update my account. I have been an Ebay Seller for 24 years now, and I am seriously considering closing my account. However, since my funds are frozen I can't even do that. I have called almost everyday, only to get another agent that tells me not to worry that things will be cleared up in 48 hrs... It has now, been over a week. In the meantime, my funds are being held captive by Ebay. And they won't take off the hold until the "glitch" is fixed. The final straw was just now, I called again this evening and the RUDE agent told me " Well, it might be a 24hrs or could be a couple weeks!! REALLY!! a couple weeks. Also, he said that this was affecting other sellers not just me. Pretty much he was telling me to quit calling. I then asked him if Ebay was going to compensate the sellers for the lost wages that they were holding illegally? Okay, I have had enough... Ebay I am done!!! this is no way to treat your sellers that are the back-bone of Ebay's revenue.

I am having the same issue. I have had two agents supposedly submit tickets to correct the "glitch" but still nothing. I asked to speak to a supervisor (not that it would help but I figure at least it's worth a shot) but I was told the hold time would be much too long and they would have one call me within 24 hours. No one ever called. I have basically put my entire business on hold for two weeks now because I have stopped listing since I can't actually get paid for my sales. I am literally losing money daily because of their "glitch" and they don't seem to have a solution. I am pretty new to ebay and was just really starting to make some momentum so now what do I do? Isn't there anyway to get this further up the chain so that someone fixes it?

I literally have had the same problem with them exactly as you described it! Been a seller for 22 years! They have held my money for 3 weeks due to this glitch.
I keep calling and get the same story over and over. I’ll also be taking my listing down and report them to BBB. I can’t imagine holding our funds due to their error can go on last a reasonable time frame without legal recourse.
