Payment problem on check out with Ebay

Hi I'm having a problem paying for an item on Ebay @ 3.27pm today Sunday 20 June. Even though I select a problem option i.e. my debit card that is in use it comes up with a warning ** Please check your payment details or use a different payment option**. It still shows in Ebay that I need to pay for the item but on my bank account I can see a pending transaction for the same amount.

I had this problem two weeks ago and I had to pay again for the item using a different card. Eventually the pending transactions dropped off my bank account without the money being taken.

Has anyone else had this problem??

Your bank is not allowing debit to be used for internet purchases. Talk with your bank.

Is your seller new to selling? The seller may not have set up the account properly to receive your payment, or the seller may not accept payment from the UK.
