Part that does not fit

The problem is the hitch does not fit. So I have to return it . It's not my fault the hitch does not fit . I am a qualified mechanic and know how to install a hitch. I understand the seller quotes they do not pay for returns. And I understand that. But if it's not made correctly why should I suffer the $80.00 return freight  ? This not a fare practice .  Is there any way you can make the seller help with this .

Unfortunately, eBay's "does not fit" return reason is for things like clothing, and it is considered a "remorse" return where the seller is not required to pay for return shipping automatically.

For an automotive part, you need to file a "not as described" claim using the reason "does not match pictures or description" in order to require the seller to pay for return shipping.
