Out of stock showing!

I sold an item today (256187854561) and the buyer has paid.  My active listings still has it as available and shows 1 out of stock.  Item should not be showing as active, it is not out of stock as only one was listed for sale, was sold and no longer should be showing up as active

I can't find that item via the item number

but it sounds like your "Out of Stock" option is activated.....

Check the button next to:

Listings stay active when you're out of stock.Learn more

https://www.ebay.com/uas/selling-pref

The item will appear, but you will not see Buy it Now button or any other way to buy it.....

just the listing

@monica-sells,

If you tried to do an eBay search by that item number, you can't find it that way because it is out of stock.

I never use eBay search to find an item number, because it doesn't work so much of the time. You can always find a listing that hasn't been removed by adding the item number onto the end of this URL:

www.ebay.com/itm/

@waywardtraders, as Monica said, that item was listed with the Out of Stock option, and it is now correctly showing "This item is out of stock." and Quantity = 0. It will stay "active" for up to 180 days, unless you end it early. But, it doesn't show up in a search of available items to purchase, and there is now no way to purchase it, unless you revise it and increase the quantity.
