I am having problems with eBay's online edit tool. I try and add a different combination to an existing listing. I click on the "add combination" button and the fields don't line up with the proper data for input and there is no option to put in the price. I have called customer service 4 times and they have submitted a report to technical support. Nothing........... I gave them three item numbers that had issues. I am sure that I have many more. I just haven't run into them. In another case, the tool wont let me add a size. I asked the customer service person if they are getting a lot of calls on this problem. I was told that I was the first. Hard to believe. BTW, sometimes the tool works just fine. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
I am having the same issue. I also called on Friday. They claimed that no one else was having that issue. I can guarantee the you and I were NOT the only ones that called in. Monday morning is here and it is still not working for us. It is just a waste of time to call. The guy I spoke with on Friday had no idea how to even update a listing. It is sad 😞 I guess we will just have to wait it out. List on Amazon...they aren't much better, but at least there site rarely has these types of glitches. They happen daily on ebay.
Thank you for your reply. Nice to know that I am not alone. I keep running into more items that I can't add to. Frustrating. Amazon vets there system changes better. They invite people to try their new system changes on a voluntary basis, which helps to locate bugs for fixing before they put everyone in. Even then you have a period of time when you can go back.
I have done some research since I posted. I have narrowed the problem down to listings that use "bottom size Men's" and listings that use "bottom size Women's". Those listings I can not add a size or a different combination. My listings that use "size type regular" I can add new sizes and colors just fine. I called customer service to report this. We will see if it gets fixed.
Wow, that's great. I haven't looked into it that much, but that is helpful. So many of my listings are that way though, so hopefully, they can get it fixed. Thank you!
