Number of Views is Decreasing e.g. 10 views this a.m. 8 views this p.m.

The number of times that a listed item has been viewed is decreasing in number. This is not for items sitting around for ever. This is new listings. This occurs frequently and is usually just a sign of all the other glitches.  However, how can this same system accurately account for views in relation to sellers paying for "sponsoring/promoting"? If the number of views is glitchy how does ebay accurately know/charge a seller fees for views in relation to promoted/sponsored paying?

What makes you think the Views are glitchy?

The Views number is based on the period you have set, the default is a rolling 30 days but maybe you have it set for a shorter period, short enough that even a very recent listing will have Views falling off the back end.
