For the last eight days, I have had a bug that displays a banner notification in my upper right screen alerting me that a buyer has accepted my offer. Nothing I do will get rid of it. I have tried clearing all my Chrome site settings, cache,... everything. It shows up on any browser.
Further, I have disabled ALL notifications in my eBay account setting and still, this banner pops up every 5 seconds.
This banner is blocking me from quickly accessing my messages because even when the banner is not on the screen for the 5 seconds it goes away after I clear it for the thousandth time, clicking over the messages page link simply refreshes my page the same as if I had clicked on the banner.
I spoke with technical support after spending 20 minutes talking to regular support who said they were aware of the problem.
Is there a solution in sight for this? Is someone actually fixing it? This directly affects my ability to navigate the site unhindered and perform my role as a seller. Plus, it is super annoying!
The item it is alerting me about has been delivered. I know the offer was accepted. Fix this, please!

Best of luck. I've had the same issue for 10 days. There's not a workaround that I've been able to find, and apparently, eBay simply doesn't care. They've known about this issue for over a week and have done nothing to resolve it.

You may be able to use an ad blocker's element hiding tool to temporarily block all notification popups on eBay, if you are using a desktop browser.
Most desktop ad blockers have a point and click interface to allow users to block certain page elements from displaying. With a little trial and error you may be able to block those notifications completely in one browser, then disable that ad blocking rule once eBay fixes things.

I'm having the same issue and it is driving me nuts! Thanks Superdealsgo for spelling out the problem so I don't have to. This issue needs to be fixed!
