Recently I've found I am not getting emails from eBay when items sell or auctions end, something I have received since I joined eBay more than 20 years ago. I have gone to my preference settings and made the desired change, but still no emails. Any help would be appreciated.
Sounds more like it might be a local email client issue.....
20 years....is it a yahoo or hotmail account....is it going into a different folder on your email client...I had a friend who has yahoo email....and something changed and his ebay emails were going into some "promotions" file or something (not his primary view)
It's Hotmail. For a while, I had started getting notices of when listings had started, something that never happened before. But those stopped. I've reset my setting preferences four or five times, but still nothing. Thanks for your input.
Hi. Thanks for your input. I check my spam folders numerous times a day. Not going there. For a while I was getting email from eBay when I listed items, something that had never happened before. Those finally stopped, now I'm getting no emails about sold or ended listings. A puzzle.
albeit an extreme measure...but why not get a gmail account...change your notification preferences and point correspondence to that new account. That would rule out a problem with yahoo if it doesn't work.
