Not able to add a buyer I want to block. keeps saying error.

Buyer left a negative feedback and said  it was stupid because I  used too much tape on packaging and too hard to open.  Buyer has left 47 negative feedback in last 6 month for bizarre reasons that have little or nothing to do with product. I have tried to add ID to blocked buyer list but it just says there is an error.  Any help would be appreciated.

I've never had a problem with the blocked buyers list. Perhaps it's a temporary glitch. Seems like a lot of that going on lately.

Finally figured it out.  Never had a problem before and been here 17 years but been a while since I blocked someone.   I had used a capital letter in buyer's name and that is why it did not work.  Got the buyer blocked now.  Yea!

That is the most ridiculous reason for someone to ruin your perfect record. I would see if you can get that removed. This is why ebays feedback is so unfair. Sorry this happened to you .

I have reported the buyer with all the pertinent information and requested the feedback be removed adding that buyer had left 47 negative feedback with bizarre reasons during the last 6 months with little to do with product.  I doubt that will happen but I wanted it on record.  Buyer had sent a message stating STUPID  can't open.  She had bought two books and both board books.  Thought the buyer was referring that she could not open the book.  New board books are sometimes hard to open because of the thickness of the pages and I checked the rest of the inventory and no problem opening.  I told buyer they could open a return if they had a problem.  Had no idea person was referring to my packaging.  Guess how easy to open is more important than receiving what you ordered in good condition.  I packaged the same way I do with all purchases.

Thanks for your response.  We shall see.  Do not think it will be removed but worth an attempt.  Going to wait to reply to feedback when I I can say what I want to say without saying what I really want to say.

I would have blocked that buyer after 2 bad feedback!  Buyers like that.....I don't need to waste my time on.

I always just copy and paste from the order, eliminates typos.

I have been trying to block a buyer that has been leaving hundreds of messages and trying to scam us to keep our gold and there money.

Ive put there stupid user name in the block buyrrs list over 1000 times now in every witch way possible it simply doesn't work and its driving me insane. 

I shouldn't have to spend 2hrs trying to type a name in to block ebay scammers.

Make sure you are using the correct buyer username. Try copying the name from the buyer's feedback page and pasting that into the blocked buyer list directly.
