Hello,
I recently started using Samsung Internet (browser) version 11.0.00.76 (newest available at this time) due to use of a different device (Samsung Note 10+). The mobile site version of the ebay messages (m.ebay.com/messaging) does not load. It just reloads the main/home page of ebay. All the other quick links at the top of the page (watching/buying/selling) seem to work fine. Even if I manually type the address for the Messages page in the address bar, it will still load the main eBay mobile home page. An older version of Samsung Internet (version 6.0.00.98) on a different/older device seems to work fine and loads all the shortcut links at the top of the ebay mobile site.
I only use a browser and do not use the eBay app, so I really need the link for Messages to work to be able to get to my messages. Browser cookies are enabled, and if I click directly on "contact seller" from inside a listing, it seems to take me to the page to send a message via the mobile website just fine, seems that only the main message page for inbox and sent messages doesn't load, so I can send messages fine, just can't to see my received or sent messages. I can also get to this community message board on the Samsung Internet browser. I can't see anything else being different other than a new version of the Samsung Internet browser. The desktop version (full site) of the eBay Messages page loads just fine on the same Samsung browser version as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem. Cannot open ebay message page on my Samsung Galaxy browser. No matter what I do it goes back to the eBay home page.

The following works with Samsung Internet 11.1.2.2 on my Motorola E4.
Try starting at the main ebay.com page, requesting the desktop site version of the page using the three-bar menu. The Watching/Buying/Selling/Messages links at the top do not work for me, but if I open an item page, I can use the My eBay menu at the top of the page to reach my Summary page, and from there get to my messages.
Bookmark your messages page and you should be able to reach your inbox without having to go through the desktop site version.

I'll try your fix eburtonlab but ebay can you fix this? A giant pain. I need the mobile site to work correctly as I don't want to use the app on this device.

I've had the same problem for month, but using Chrome. I always have to click the menu button, and then check the box which says "Desktop site." I can't stand the app or the mobile site because it always defaults the search order to best match. If there's more than one of the exact same item, I want to buy the cheapest one. Who wouldn't?

When trying to search for an item on ebay I get the message:
The eBay mobile website is no longer supported on this device. Access all your eBay activity from your desktop or a supported Apple, Android or Blackberry mobile device.

What operating system and browser version are you using?
I am able to search eBay using a Samsung Internet 13.2.1.70 browser in mobile mode on a Motorola e4 with Android 7.1.1.
If you are unable to search in mobile mode, try requesting the desktop site version of the page using the three bar menu in the lower right corner of the screen if you are using a recent version of Samsung Internet.

I have this same issue. Can't get to messages, it just goes to eBay home page. Using Samsung S21 with Samsung browser.
