So I had a item that just sold so I clicked on the sold tab to go to my sold items page. OF course eBay just released a new change to the pages layout. I also got a pop up asking me to look over the new layout and be sure to click the feedback button to let them know what I think or to point out any issues.
Well for one thing you took out the feedback button so no one will be able to leave feedback or report issues. I would guess as usual you had a IT guy design the new page but did not look it over and check his or her work. As this seams to be the norm you might want to change that policy and require them to verify their work. It would probably reduce the amount off minor issues that across the board effect users and disrupt sales. It would probably save you money from having to have your server team rush to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it.
Now to the actual page layout I noticed you changed the format that identifies the buyer by name and not by user id. While this is trivial when you show the user id it also shows the feedback score. While that is not to important for most buyer it can be helpful if the buyer is new to ebay and has a low score. That way you can keep track of the shipping and be ready incase the buyer has basic usage questions about ebay and the buying process. Perhaps it would be better to just provide all of the buyers information like user name, full name, feedback score, and address. That way all of the buyers information is there on one screen and readily available for the seller.
IF you are going to have your employees make changes just to make them perhaps require them to at least ensure that basic information needed for sellers is visible and present. Then have them check their work and look it over when they are done. Go over a check list to see if they left any information out. Check the link to see if they are working and pull up the correct pages or pop ups. Then if they are going to ask for feedback double check to make sure the feedback button is present and working.
You really should look into the concept of break fix support and hire people with actual it back grounds and actual formal education and certification rather than focus on them have been using facebook or myspace for more than 5 years. Linked in does point this issue out and perhaps if you hired qualified people you would have less issues.

So accurate! I have been so frustrated with the change I can’t even keep track of my sales for the month since our total earnings have been eliminated. That helps me decide to take low ball offers or not. Not that I take low ball offers...but if sales are slow... I have been selling on eBay for 20 years and really don’t want to quit but give a girl a break and leave things alone.
