New Sign In activity on your account showing up everytime I need to sign in

This just started happening today.  At first I worried and quickly changed my password.  Then when it asked me to sign in and I had the new password, I got the exact email.  Then just looking at a few things I needed to sign in again and I got the same email.  Anyway to fix this?  If I'm working on email for awhile I will spammed with these emails.  Might have something to do with other security problems eBay is having, but if this is suddenly happening to anyone else I'd like to know.

This is nothing new. Dates back to 2018 (at least) for me.

Re: New Sign In activity on your account showing up everytime I need to sign in

eBay has begun sending such messages for each sign-in from an unrecognized browser. Unrecognized just means that the browser has no cookies from a previous sign-in to that account, or the IP address does not correspond to a previous sign-in.

I do not think there is a way to disable those messages.

If you are routinely erasing your browser cookies, or changing your network address, you can expect to receive such messages when you sign in again.

Do the browser, location and time correspond to your own sign-in activity? If so, you can ignore the message.

Keep in mind that the location may not be precise; it may correspond to the location of the network rather than your actual location. Browser information may not always be available.

If you do not recognize the location, time or browser, and you suspect that someone else may have gained access to your account, you may want to change your eBay password.

We have two laptops in my family.  The old one (purchased in 2010) gets that same message; but the new one (purchased a few months ago) does not.

Probably planned obsolescence.
