Hi, I see this was a known issue a while back - did anyone find a solution please?
I tried uninstalling, re-installing, restart, clearing cache and data etc but all unsuccessful. Using latest app, latest Google play services, store etc
Anyone solve this issue please?

Hey @eburtonlab - any thoughts here?
Also seeing @bettingguru and @numislinha reporting the same problem specific to OnePlus 12 on this old thread: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/Ebay-App-error-quot-something-went-wrong-quot/m-p/34721617...
I looked it up and OnePlus 12 was released Feb 2024, so it's not an issue of old tech.
In the meantime @farrinr and others having this problem, you can always use the eBay website on your phone's browser.

I managed to download the July version of the app and it works. So they did something bad on the 2 latest releases

Thanks for sharing that work-around.
Hey elizabeth@ebay - can you make sure the app team is aware of the login issue on OnePlus 12 with recent versions of the app?

I can confirm the ebayapp DOES NOT WORK with OnePlus 12 mobile device, thank you.

I can also confirm that I am getting this error on my OnePlus 7T. Using the July 4 version of the app works fine.
However it's notable that I'm running a custom ROM: LineageOS 21 (based on Android 14). So it seems less to do with OnePlus's own OxygenOS and more to do with the hardware or firmware. I can't imagine eBay needed to do anything so low-level as to be interfacing with those, so this is extremely odd.
Please sort this out eBay.
