New Listing Tool Problems

I have had problems with the new listing tool for weeks now.

In Item Specifics, when I enter the creation date it disappears and I have to retype it at least twice.

Same with Brand.  I have to retype it at least two or three times. 

Time waste.  

Often when I am filling out the Item Specifics the entire area will vanish and you just see a white screen with the gray box shapes.  I have to log out and back in to find it. 

Or it returns with only two or three lines of the Items Specifics

Many times after I click the LIST to make my listing live it will take forever.. the whole screen again turns white. I have to refresh page and I lose it.  No draft auto saved during that time. 

All in all. It is a mess and taking me a long time.

Downloading my photos is slow also. Somedays it is fast but most days, I have to switch from laptop over to cell phone to download the photos.

I have spoken to Ebay twice.  Nothing gets done or it seems like a temporary fix.

I often clear history so that is not the problem. 

Sales have been slow for many weeks too. 

The only thing I can do is go to classic ebay listing tool and will be screwed when I can no longer use it but forced to use the new one

I have resorted by going back to the old listing page but it is not a permanent solution since soon we will all have to use the new listing tool without any choice. 

Argh.

I am having ALL of the same issues that you are describing.  Timewasters and infuriating.  Every time an issue arises, I send "feedback" from the new listing page.    I'm not sure how to get any answers to these issues.  I'm sure it's a universal problem.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the link to get back to the Classic Listing Tool! The new one is a pain in the A__! Worst update eBay has ever made. Wish they would listen to sellers and give us the option of using the new or the classic. That way they can satisfy all sellers.

I've been having MAJOR problems with it since it was forced on us. In 5 years I NEVER ONCE had an issue with the old listing tool but now it's problems every single day. It's caused me so much trouble i'm only getting 3-5 listings created each day. I'm having the same issue with text disappearing and a 100 other things, the new glitch over the past few days has been that when I click on "list it" it does nothing. I have to refresh the page only to find half the information I entered is now gone and I have to redo the listing sometimes 3-4 times before it will list. I have reported glitches 58 times over the past 4 months but no one will reach out to me and NONE of the issues have been addressed. Why in the heck did they force it on us when they didn't even have it working yet? I've found myself in tears multiple times because I don't know what to do and ebay refuses to help or fix the issues.

Also here is a petition to ask ebay to go back to the classic listing tool until they fix the new one, please sign and share, this is seriously damaging my business.

It's sad how this was posted nearly 3 years ago and it's still a crap listing tool that has a different glitch every single day. I never had a single issue with the old tool. Not once. This new ai crap isn't worth being forced to use a tool that doesn't function. I use Chat GPT anyway, it's far better than the ai they built into the horribly designed new listing tool.
