New Feature Function Desired: Wishlist generator

Add a Wishlist selector box similar to Watch Item heart selector but with slightly different functionality

I often find myself adding desirable items to my watch list only to be hit with unsolicited offers. While the offers are often amazing and very tempting, my original intent wasn't to Watch the item to buy it, but rather to keep the category, title, description and image of the item in a list that lasts indefinitely, so i never forget it and in preperation for the day i have the funds which also doesn't open the door for offers on every item in my list of desirables.

Is this a feature function that others like you would find useful to have?

You can add items to your Wish List -- I believe that is a default list option. Or you can create a new custom list and add the item to that list.

I think that items on custom lists are are not subject to offers in general the way that items on your Watch List are, though items that are viewed more than once or that are added to your cart can receive offers from sellers even if they are not on your Watch List.

If you want, you can disable the offer feature entirely in your communications preferences, so none of your viewed items are subject to receive offers from sellers. This setting cannot be selectively used; it is either enabled or not.

Items added to a list may not last indefinitely; if the item sells or ends and is not relisted, the item listing will disappear after ninety days and the item will no longer appear on any of your lists.

I'm looking for a list feature that copies the item image and all the details of that item (with exception of description field, shipping, and sales data) and generate a wishlist listing similar in layout as the live item listing which expires and can be deleted by the lister, without saving an actual listing that can be soliticed to, timed out, or deleted. Rather, a static mock-up of the item page listing of my desired item so I never forget about it without deactivating the offer feature as I want that associated Watch listed item.

Like a screenshot?

If you are referring to me saving a screenshot, the PC and phone dumps pics into a mass image folder mixed with 1000s of other images and videos. This method is unmanageable and doesnt bring me back to the ebay platform to encourage a purchase.

If you are referring to ebay saving a screenshot in my wish list, that would suffice as long as the text on the image can be selected and copied to reduce repitutious typing in the search field.

Nothing on eBay is guaranteed to be permanent. Categories change; items can be sold or end, and if the seller does not relist an item, the listing is removed from the site after ninety days.

If you want a permanent record of items or ideas, you will likely have to arrange something yourself off of eBay, organized in a way that you find natural to search.

Rather than just saving individual items which can end or expire, you may want to also keep track of certain searches, or certain sellers, either through eBay's saved searches or saved sellers pages, or by bookmarking searches and seller links yourself.

Precisely the reason for the post. Currently nothing exists on ebay that can provige a long-living wishlist with titles and an image attached to it as well as selectable text.

This post was meant to see if anyone else would benefit from a long living never-removed item wish list with selectable text that doesn't notify any seller which would prompt seller offers. Existing list options are limited.

Is there a better platform for new feature requests? Anyone know the email to the eBay development team?

eBay does not typically solicit such requests.
