eBay offers support for registering a FIDO 2 security key (e.g. Yubikey) for passwordless login. Unfortunately it seems that you can only register a single security key, meaning that if you lose or break your key, you may be locked out of your account. What's worse, eBay does not provide even provide a backup code. This effectively renders this feature useless, since I cannot reasonably risk losing access to my account even for this added security. Are there any plans to extend this feature to support multiple keys? C'mon eBay! You guys are so far behind the times in technology.
