When I go to check on my account, and click my eBay , then selling or summary: it loads the page then takes me to win an amazon card. You can not get out of it except close the window. Is this a setting that I can change?

There seems to be some nasty malware out there, primarily targeting Safari browser on the Ipad. The malware disguises itself as some sort of Amazon give-away pop-up, but it points to a spreediscount.com address. It's not clear to me whether the malware is on eBay itself, on a third-party ad hosted by eBay, or being delivered to individual ipads through some other mechanism. It seems to be triggered by navigating to eBay's site, though.
I am not an Apple user, so I can only point out that there are some discussions on Apple Support boards about clearing Safari web cache and history and making sure that the built-in popup blocker is set up. But there are other folks insisting that that doesn't help at all. Getting a third-party popup blocker might be useful, as well as considering switching to another browser until someone comes up with a better workaround or a fix.

Thanks that helps.
