Why wouldn’t they have used my CC? Possible they used a stolen CC?
Of course they used stolen CC info. Possibly the shipping/billing address was an issue for them.
What was the purchase and for how much? Did you catch it quickly? Were you alerted to the fraudulent purchase? I am glad your card was not used but is it possible they were able to get that info (cc number) for future fraud? As much of a pain as it might be, i would contact my CC and have them issue you a new card with a different number. JMO Sorry it happened to you and hopefully they catch them.
