I got no response in the Tools discussion board so I’m trying again here which may be more appropriate. I now have two incidents with the same results. An auction expired with no sale so I opened the inactive listing and changed from auction to buy-it-now with a new price. I went down to the description which was shown in plain text and hit the HTML button to just view my original HTML and make sure it was still there, and it was. So, I enabled an immediate re-listing start. When I looked at the live listing I saw to my horror that my beautiful HTML formatting was destroyed and the text was compressed into a totally unformatted continuous run-on single paragraph. What is going on here? Why would the act of simply viewing the HTML of my original listing without any editing at all to cause that to destroy its formatting? I need to understand this. The only way I could fix it is to quickly revise my listing and re-paste my HTML back in, then go live again with the revision. This sure seems like a tool bug to me.
