This is a strange problem I've been having on the eBay site.
I've tested this on Firefox and Vivaldi browsers on Windows 10 and Android 8.1.
1. Go to the eBay Messages page in your desktop browser: https://mesg.ebay.com/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0/All
Scroll down and look on the left. You'll see a section called "Folders". I don't have any other folders in my eBay message center so, on the desktop, I just see a link named: "Add a Folder+".
2. Then, I load the eBay Messages page on my mobile device. Suddenly, a new folder named "My Folder 1" appears. I never created this folder. There is no way to delete this folder on the mobile device.
3. I go back to my desktop browser and refresh the page and now see a new folder named "My Folder 1".
4. I delete this folder on the desktop and click "OK" for the confirmation popup. The page refreshes and the folder is gone again.
But, when I go back to my mobile device, the folder is recreated again. It seems like something on the mobile site is causing this. I am not using the eBay Android app. Just a browser logged into ebay.com.
Has anyone else ever noticed this issue?
