Logged onto eBay today to follow up with a problem with a Buyer (order disappeared in transit). When I went to see if he wanted a refund or replacement, I go to messaging and all I see are a couple messages from eBay (unfamiliar device notification, reports are available, etc.) and in the middle of my screen, a mailbox with the lid open with a pigeon sitting in it - - along with a whole new set of tabs, yet not one tab to send a message from me (i.e. Seller) to a Buyer. 30-minutes later when eBay customer service calls back and I've already looked everywhere for assistance, what do I hear? "Oh, you're the 2nd person I've heard this from this morning. I'll put in a ticket." Seven-hours later, I'm still looking at the pigeon in the mailbox looking at me - - yet still not any tabs or ways to contact my Buyer(s) to resolve any issues (before at least one Buyer feels he's being ignored / played. The stupid looking pigeon in the mailbox was cute at first; not any more.

As a buyer this is terrible. New messaging platform isn't working for me. If I can't ask a seller a question, I can't buy on Ebay anymore. I'd like the option to go back to the way it was before change.
I'm still waiting for a reply from support.

To send a message to a seller, you should be able to use the "contact" link in a seller's listing, the seller's profile page or from your Purchase History and be taken to your eBay message inbox with a "Send message" button in the bottom right and a "Send message" text line just above that. Click on the "Send message" text line to start entering your text.
