Location and overall category browing and breadcrumbs are just broken - and annoying

Let's say I want to look for furniture near me. Or tech.

Hit the breadcrumb for the category - it's an SEO landing page with some banal text on the subject for Google purposes. I'm sure it helps, really.

What doesn't help is 'sort by nearest item' doesn't. It's snarled up with the US site code at a guess, so at best gives me 'GBR', but no postcode, and starts with the location being in the US.

This is a major headache as a buyer. It's been like this for months.

I mean, next to 'unsupported formatting' and a line-break-less stream of words if you DARE to touch a listing in the eBay mobile app, and the overall dumbing down of the sales process that stops you, say, selecting a category on mobile, it's a minor thing, but those aren't bugs, they're features.

The reason you're seeing locations being in the  US is because you are on eBay.com which is a US eBay site.

You want to go to www.eBay.co.uk

If you in the UK and you are having problems sorting by distance, make sure you are actually searching on the UK site.

Searching using keywords seems to provide more options more reliably than browsing a category. If you are having problems seeing all the items in a category, try searching using the category name as a workaround.

Use the "Feedback" link in the lower right corner of the search results page to alert eBay page developers to problems you are having with search features or missing filter options on the category pages when browsing.
