As mentioned before by @ghost-star items listed on eBay aren’t showing in search. This seems to be an ongoing issue. We’re still having the same issue, see more here: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Ask-a-Mentor/eBay-Store-Items-Aren-t-Showing-in-Search-Results/td-p/32...
We tested from different states and countries, listed items aren’t showing. They don’t even show up on our own ebay store (not on our user profile under Items for Sale). The active listings have no views (popular product).

Items listed on eBay may appear instantly in your store and show up in searches on ebay.com while others may get delayed up to 24 hours due indexing as described by @eburtonlab and @lacemaker3.
This seems to be random. We listed similar items with similar descriptions, same amount of photos, and roughly same amount of text, we listed them in the same category. One of the accounts showed the listings instantly and we received hundreds of views in couple hours. The other one—mentioned above—had a delay of roughy 20 hours when the items started to show in the search and also became visible on our eBay store. We never experienced this thing before but it seems to be common in 2021, and given the large numbers of items caching makes sense. Probably eBay will sort it out and lower the delay to a more reasonable 1-2 hours. Hope this helps others, affected by the same issue. Thank you for the help!

What are the item numbers?

You need to let us know the item numbers for your listings that are not showing up in search. You need to help us out here, so we can help you with this.
I can see exactly one listing in your store, and I found a cached page dated Oct 11, 2021 that only showed the same single listing. When I tried searching for that item, it does show up in a keyword search (see the screenshot below). There are only 3 of them available on eBay USA, and your item is the middle-priced one, it's not the cheapest. At this very high price point, none of them have been sold on eBay in the last 90 days.
I was able to find another listing you have, which is out of stock. Nobody can see it because eBay doesn't show out of stock listings in search. You received feedback for several purchases of this listing between 6- 12 months ago. If this is the one you're concerned about, you need to revise it and increase the quantity to show how many you have available.

Thank you for looking into it.

@lacemaker3 here are the active items. The views (3 and 20) are us, trying to figure out the problem.

When did you list 255283410208?
I see you have revised it several times in the last two days:
New listings can take up to 24 hours to be indexed and appear in search; if you revise a listing before it appears, it goes to the back of the line.

OK, both of those listings appear to be very new, probably started yesterday 12/17/2021. You have revised both of them multiple times since they were started.
At this point, you need to leave them alone and let them get indexed. Every time a listing is revised it has to be re-indexed for each search type before it can be found by search. This can take up to 24 hours or a bit more. Stop revising them, and they should be searchable by tomorrow some time.
The good news is, one of them already has 3 watchers, so some users are finding it. When a buyer has a saved search, items that match the search criteria are shown in their eBay feed (on the home page) almost immediately after the listing is started. So that's probably how they found it.
The two listings appear to be for the same item, and they may be considered duplicate listings. If that's the case, the second one won't appear in search while the first one is still available. If they are the same item, then just moving the keywords around in the title isn't enough to make them "different". If there is a difference between them, the you need to revise one of the listings to make it clearly obvious what the difference is.

Yes, they were definitely started yesterday, because I see in your screenshot that both the Macbook listings have 30 days, 4 1/2 hours left.

It has been happening to us more frequently lately. Last week buyer goes into our store and says there are no items for sale when we had over 700 listed. Another buyer goes to our store and searches with keywords and the listings never showed. Called ebay and they said they were aware. Ive been calling ebay about this for 8 YEARS NOW. and nothing seems to get done about it. You arent alone.

The delay has been up to 24 hours for more than 20 years, but indexing used to be completed within a few minutes for most listings, and rarely took more than 2-4 hours except for high-risk listings until recently. There have been a lot of reports recently of indexing taking 24 hours or more.
I'm glad you were able to solve the problem yourself. But what did you waste our time for, in that case?

We have been calling ebay since NOVEMBER about SPECIFIC items of ours NOT showing in the main search results for MONTHS prior. Supervisors have searched and fully agreed the listing examples we have given are NOT in the main search. We have tried Fixed Price, Auction, etc. Nothing. New listing, Relist, Sell Similar. It cost us a LOT of money at the holidays and ebay keeps blowing us off. I have called 15+ times. We are Top Rated sellers getting NO SALES except the ones we send from our site.
We have been on ebay 24 years. It is next to impossible to get past the first line of phone reps - even though they can't do anything to help. We were told for MONTHS tickets would be sent to IT since the supervisor can CLEARLY see there are issues. NOTHING has been done. Nothing.
We have had almost ZERO sales except our customers we are sending from our site. How do I know this? We removed the link to our ebay store from our website and ALL SALES STOPPED for almost 3 weeks! We have been sending customers for specific items to our ebay store and it is just those items selling. EVERY time I call in (have them call us) these front line reps make it IMPOSSIBLE to be transferred to the selling team.
Why are they refusing to fix this? We were "Power Sellers" now the only way to have top status is to give FREE SHIPPING AND PAY return shipping to be Top Rated Sellers?!? We have been loyal to ebay 24 years and they do not care about us as sellers. They *promise* to call back within 72 hours and NEVER call back. I have asked supervisors to keep on this until resolved. They haven't.

Search
Mosser Collie
in the main search. NONE of ours come up. There are MANY Many many other examples we have given them.
They have completely blown us off. My husband lost his job of 17 years due to covid so this is having a huge impact on us.

The reason your items are not showing up is due to a little know program on Ebay which I think is called Implicit Category Navigation........ In this "gem", search automatically pulls items from a category ebay has chosen............ in this case.......figurines. Yours are in dogs.....collie.
To test this do a search with Mosser Collie and look up at the category, don't click into an item, just look at the search category............even tho you searched "ALL", the category shown is Figurines........
Change the category and yours will show.....
This was put in years ago and affected some subcategories and no one could get a real reason, except that it would make search "better".......despite protests. I imagine, the way ebay employees move around/quit......that no one is around that even knows about it.......
