Listing tool page reloads every time I upload or edit photos.

Since the beginning of 2022, ever time I try to upload or edit photos using the listing tool the page reloads and I lose all the work I've done.  It happens on Chrome, Edge and Firefox on multiple different PC's.  I often have to redo everything 3 of 4 times before it will finally work.   I expected this would have been fixed before Christmas, but it's now about a month away, and the listing tool is still a buggy mess.  This is unacceptable, and makes listing things on eBay so annoying and time consuming that I have been putting off listing many things for almost an entire year now.  I used to list 50 items in a day.  Now I list maybe 3 or 4 before I get fed up with eBay and end up on the forums wasting my time complaining about how much eBay sucks now.

Did you figure out how to fix your issue? I'm dealing with the same thing. Luckily i didn't have to switch to the new listing tool until recently. But ever since using the new tool, listing is a very unpleasant experience and keeps erasing my data.

I've faced same issue, but still didn't figure out how i can fix it.

Currently i'm listing my items using old listing tool , i advice you both to using the old version.

Do you have any add-ons in common in the different browsers you have tried?

Some users have indicated issues with Ad Block, Duckduckgo and a grammar checker called Language Tool that seem to be related to problems with item descriptions disappearing when listing or editing using the new listing tool. There may be other add-ons that cause similar problems as well.

Try listing using a different browser with no add-ons installed and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the tips. I mainly use Mozilla, but also tried Opera. Had issues with both, but Mozilla was much worse. I do have ad blockers and duckduckgo as my search so I will fiddle with addons and settings. Thanks again

I agree this is extremely annoying. It's more noticeable if you have slow upload speeds. The only workaround I've found is to let the pictures finish uploading before messing with anything else on the listing page. It should not refresh if you do that. The only true fix is for eBay to address the issue.

You realized that you are responding to a thread from November 2022, right? I am pretty sure the issue was resolved years ago.

Resolved for most, but not necessarily for all. Newer browser versions or newer add-on versions may no longer suffer from the same problem, but it is always possible that someone with an older (or a non-standard) browser or and older version of an add-on might encounter the same problem, even now.

Sometimes old issues resurface when a newer version of something contains old code.

Older threads like this can still be relevant to some users encountering the problem now.
