Apparently the bot discovered in my message to a potential buyer, that I was asking in which state the buyer lives. There was no offer of selling outside of eBay, but simply the suggestion that I could change the listing to a local pickup. Asking for a destination state is not an exchange of personal information, neither is it an offer to sell outside of eBay.
The sole reason for me asking for the state was for my own protection, as there was a previous eBay buyer who was stalking me online, and the current buyer made similar comments as the stalker. I assumed it was the same perp with a new eBay profile. Now my listing is hidden and there was no info on how to fix this so called policy violation.

Yes, it was the coffee maker. The automated and hours delayed, no reply, email said I was violating the selling outside of eBay policy. After hours of reading up on policies and how to fix it, I couldn’t find what I had done wrong other than asking for a shipping destination state. 
I finally got a hold of eBay and my listing was put back online. The representative told me that the issue was actually a link to the product’s manual. A link that didn’t show on the listing on my end for the last 20 days. Now all of a sudden it magically appeared and that was the issue?

Nothing made sense. Why is a product manual not allowed? Why did I not see the link on my end and now it appeared? Why is the bot telling me I tried to sell outside of eBay?
So much headache. I sincerely hope they’ll improve. Selling a household item here or there shouldn’t be so time consuming or stressful. Especially not when charging 13.5% selling fee:/

Your listing doesn't show local pickup. 

FWIW, I don't do local pickup of ebay listings and if a buyer asks about it, I tell them do shipping only. 

If I want a local pickup listing, I do it on CL and meet in a public location, cash only.
