Ebay no longer works properly in the latest Firefox. Messages, specifically, no longer load. Links don't activate. Other parts of the site are broken as well. This has been happening for me for at least 2 days across multiple versions of firefox. This is affecting people other than myself as well.

I too have this issue since updating to Firefox 55. Almost every page on ebay.com needs to be F5 reloaded.
Running Windows 10, Firefox 55.

doing some more testing, seems this has something to do with using Ublock on Firefox 55

I just disabled UO for ebay.com and still getting the bug. Are other people getting it that aren't UO users?

I cannot upload photos. I cannot list new items. Contacted eBay and they told me lots of sellers having the same problem. Their solution- problems should be rectified in 48 to 72 hours. So try again then. This is my business. Not good enough ebay

OK, may not work for everyone but I've found that by disabling uBblock Origin (I'm on v1.14.4) in the Addons section of FF I can then access eBay links again without any problems. Simply 'switching off' blocking of eBay pages using the uBlock 'button' does not seem to do it. When I then re-enable uBO within Addons, eBay links stop working again.
In an earlier post I mentioned that I could access the .com version of eBay correctly, but not the .co.uk site. The reason would appear to be that the .com pages were already included within my uBO Whitelist - but not the .co.uk pages?!
I should say though that I also use uBO in my Microsoft Edge browser without any problems, so it does appear to be some perfect storm of Windows 10, Firefox 55.0.3 (32-bit), uBlock Origin v1.14.4 and eBay (with its recent site changes?) that results in problems. As others have also said, I have not encountered this issue on any other sites, including a lot of corporate sites and newsfeeds with extensive links lists, so I can't see why eBay should be the exception?
However, for now I'm going to look for a uBO alternative for use with FF.

AdBlock Plus? I am on FF 55.0.3 and am not experiencing these issues on the US Site.

Hi!
I've been trying to list an item from my phone and "listing errors" keeps saying Payment Options. Is this part of the bug? I've listed numerous items before and have never had this problem.
Thank you,
Rachel

Sorry, can't help you with that, I can only comment from my own experiences using a Windows 10, FF etc. platform.
You might need to be more specific though with regards to the version of Android/ IOS/ Windows Mobile or whatever it is you have installed on your mobile, together with the browser you use (or eBay app?) and specific browser add-ons to see if anyone else is similarly affected.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was a user of ABP for many years but swapped to uBO a while back because of better overall performance (reduced CPU/RAM usage) and in general, it seemed to cause fewer issues. As I say, I have only encountered problems with it on eBay, and that is only within the past few days.
I'm put off buying anything on eBay at the minute because I don't have confidence in a trouble-free transaction process once I bid.
I'm also disappointed that although this is clearly a problem affecting numerous members of the eBay community (I suspect there will be many more who have not yet used the forums to log the problems) there appears so far to be no response from eBay techs on the issue, although they say that the 'Technical Issues' threads are monitored?? (apologies if they have and I just haven't seen it).
....So, eBay Tech Support: any thoughts please???

Ok, tried another FF Add-on; Adaware Adblock which appears to have done the job.
Please note: I am in no way endorsing this add-on, but all I can say is for now I can access all eBay links again without any issues. It remains to be seen though how it behaves generally and how effective it is when compared to uBO across a range of sites.....

It's been affecting me for the last week or so, and still is an issue. I'm on ebay.co.uk, Win7, FF54.0.1 (I've loaded the update to FF55, just not yet restarted), UBO 1.14.4.
Pretty much every single thing I click on I then have to press F5 to actually get the page.
Doesn't happen on *any* other site I use, so the finger points at ebay (as is usual whenever they mess around with the front end).
