Keeping List View as the way to look at listings

Every time I want to look at listings, I have to select List View which I prefer.  Just in the last couple of days, it automatically goes to Gallery View.  I change it to List View and then when looking at something else on my watch list it goes back to Gallery View again.  How to I keep List View as my preferred way to look at auctions.  Really aggravating.   Thaks for any suggestions.

Do a search for something.  Near the top right corner of the screen, just to the right of the list sort order box is another drop-down box.  Click on the down arrow in the box.   There you will be able to change to list view as well as change the default sort order.

Sometimes the customization does not seem to take.
