@electricrecords6 the short answer to your questions is, if you hover of this little information pop up, you'll see a message from eBay showing that their definition of "near-real time" is in fact actually 72 hours.
It's not uncommon to see those numbers fluctuate during that timeframe and eBay gives themselves that long to "reconcile" the data, so any changes you see within that time, they will simply say it's working as expected.
Many sellers question whether that means we can really trust the reports though and those sellers are certainly justified in their skepticism as we've seen many instances of strange things happening with the statistics that would indicate they may not be exactly trustworthy.
