Items mysteriously marked 30% off within 24 hours of listing them.

We have checked the promotions we have and none were initiated between the time these items were listed and when they were found to be marked 30% off.  2 items were created from old listings I had and 1 was created using SELL SIMILAR off of a random closed ebay item.  All 3 were marked 30% off when I checked the next morning. 

I create off of my sold listings frequently and this had not happened in the past.

same thing is happening on my store.  Some items are not newly created, either.  I seem to be running a sale without creating one!
