Item still showing as active, even though I accepted an offer on it

Hi all - I accepted an offer for an item, and it is not showing up as sold and awaiting payment.  It is still showing as an active item

I am chatting with ebay support, and the person I am chatting with says it will show as active until the buyer has paid, which I have never ever seen be the case.   As far as I know, It should show as "sold/awaiting payment"

The one thing I can think of is that it is an international order, but I have never run into this situation before.  Is this normal, or is this just another one of the endless glitches on eBay?

This has been going on for just a while now, until the item is actually paid for, it stays live.

Shouldn't it be showing under my orders tab?

Not only that, but now the buyer gets a message saying they've been SENT an offer, instead of the usual 'seller has accepted your offer', so they may not even be aware you did.

Great 'improvement', yes?
