This issue seems to have surfaced in the last week.
I sell in the jewelry category. I use variations most of the time. When I sell out of a variation and go to revise my item to replenish stock, all the items specifics have disappeared. The auto suggestions show up, but only offer about 5 item specifics that you are allowed to populate. Normally in jewelry, there are 15 item specifics. There are only 5 now available, all other item specific fields are not available and not even on the screen. You cannot put carat weight, metal, brand, stone creation method, treatment and more critical item specifics needed for jewelry.
The item specific fields that disappeared do show in the bulk editor, but they are all now blank. The "base metal" field you are locked out of repopulating in the bulk editor as well.
Please fix this issue as a big issue in my opinion.
