I listed three items with ebay.  later when I went to check on them one was not found. I found the Ebay tel number and I was told that sometimes ebay changes the listing numbers of items without informing the seller.

That same representative gave me the new number. since that time the number has been changed again and again I was not advised. After several complaints to Ebay I was shown the listing without a number.

I still do not have a number and I do not understand why Ebay does this or how I am supposed to keep track of my sales items. As aresult I have stopped listing items and will not resume until I con follow where are my items.

Have you tried going into Seller Hub, click on Listings, then select Active.  There you can see your active listings. 

I have never heard of anything like you are describing.  

EBay will delete your listings if the items are prohibited to be sold on the platform. If you keep listing the same thing over and over that eBay is deleting, they will suspend your account
