I mailed a package this morning and the customer sent me a message and noticed his item says "delivered". It also says "delivered" on my eBay end. Tracking just says that it was accepted and shows the history from last night when I printed my label and this morning when I dropped it off at the post office. Details on eBay also say that USPS IN POSSESION OF ITEM? Has anyone else experienced this. I would say it is an eBay issue since the USPS info is correct and does not say delivered. I am in NY and it was going to DC. No way it got there in 1 hour. I also checked to make sure I did not reprint and old label! I have done that some years ago and that was not fun. This was not a duplicate tracking number. I told the customer I would eyeball it during the day and if it doesn't change I could stop at the post office. I don't think the problem is on their end. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jess

That can sometimes happen if a package receives a "delivery" scan instead of an "acceptance" scan. Postal workers that do both types of scans sometimes have their scanners set incorrectly.
If the package is scanned again along the way to its destination, the eBay tracking display may update to the correct status.
Let your buyer know that you just dropped off the package at the post office, when you expect it to arrive, and if possible, provide the link to the USPS tracking info if it is correct.
