Checking my listings this morning, I can still see that many of my clothing listings are missing size specifics. I was relisting some silk neck ties. In the item specifics there are the usual specifics like material etc. Then scrolling down I see Shoe width or Size. What does this have to do with a neck tie? Shoes have their own catagory! Does anyone at Ebay sit down and look at this stuff? It seems so basic.

I sell New Men's shirts. I revised some yesterday, and It did not take. I have many sizes of the same shirts. My sales have been butchered this week. Am I wasting my time? Or are they still working on it?

I can’t take this platform anymore. I was 3 weeks from leaving my 9-5 to start reselling full time. Now, after calculating my profits for the month of October, I’ve gone $4k/month off track compared to September! How is that even possible?! That’s a difference of almost $20K profit a year. Of course, it just so happens that 3 months ago I changed my store plan from basic to premium (yearly subscription).

I’ve tried sticking to one main platform, for the sake of not having any screw ups with cross-listing; but at this point putting all my eggs into Ebay's basket is a recipe for disaster. For any new sellers out there, dip your toes into ALL of the selling platforms. eBay may feel familiar, but it most definitely does not have your best intentions in mind.
