Item Description Gone from Sold Item

The item description is missing from an item I just sold.  I use the item description box to find my items in my inventory, so I need this information.

Many sellers are reporting that their 'item descriptions' have either been deleted or replaced with a server error message.  I am not having this issue (that I know of), but I am seeing it all over my social media feeds right now.

I received a message from eBay customer service this morning:

"We are currently experiencing a site issue that is causing this. Good news is I have added your account to our open IT report, to ensure this is recorded while we are working on getting this fixed. There is currently not an approximate fix date for this, but this issue is expected to be fixed as soon as possible."

If you want eBay to add your account to their open IT report you should email customer service.

No rush, eBay. It's only our livelihoods and your bottom line that's getting affected by potential customers not seeing the freaking item description! 🙈

Is this a known issue?  Descriptions not showing on some listings for buyers as well as sellers sold listings.   

Changing browsers has not made a difference.

Hey @comics-scifi-collectibles! As of this morning we have not seen a sitewide ticket open on this issue. We will have this reported on our end and encourage others to reach out to customer support to have an individual ticket created for their account as well.
