Is there a way to see/recover “Spring Cleaned” Ebay Listings?

Recently, I noticed some of my old items weren’t showing up in my eBay store. I didn’t know why this happened, so I searched up the problem and saw a eBay community post about Spring Cleaning. I’m not completely sure, but I think that’s what happened to my listings. I went to eBay Customer Service and no one has been able to send me a list or tell me what was removed. So, my last resort is the eBay Community Section. Is there a way to see/recover “Spring Cleaned” eBay Listings? Please reply if you have a solution, or could help in anyway.

Thanks, SamMcBargins

@1416bsam,

I haven't heard it called "spring cleaning" before, but eBay does end good-til-canceled listings if they get very old and stale, don't have much interest, and have not been revised lately to try to freshen them up and generate interest. As far as I can see, your oldest listing was started Jan 21, 2021, so it's getting close to 2 years old:

www.ebay.com/itm/164658898215

I don't know that anyone has figured out how old the listings have to be for eBay to end them, and it does make a difference if the listing has potential buyers who appear to be interested in it. So there probably isn't a hard and fast age, but older listings that haven't sold can be at risk of being ended.

Listings that have been ended should still be accessible in your Seller Hub for 60 days, so hopefully, they didn't disappear longer ago than that.

If you can't find them in your unsold listings in seller hub, they are still accessible for up to 90 days, but you have to know the item number. If you use this URL, and replace the xxx's with the item number, that will pull up the listing if it is still accessible. If this doesn't work, then I'm afraid that it's gone.

@lacemaker3,

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I first started in like 2020, so I guess my listings are just gone then😢.

Also, here is the forum for the eBay spring cleaning. https://community.ebay.com/t5/Announcements/eBay-Listing-Spring-Cleaning/ba-p...

@1416bsam, thanks for the link.

That was 5 years ago, and the terminology didn't really catch on. eBay doesn't like drawing attention to things like that which can be considered to be negative aspects of the site.
