Incorrect results when searching eBay. Chrome searches every word in the listing, including sponsor

Using Chrome browser, tried searching for keywords, 'thor', 'omnibus' and 'stracyznski'.  On one browser, I get the correct results (just over 20), but on a clean install version of chrome (no extensions etc..) I get thousands.  It seems the browser version is allowed to search ever word in the listing, including sponsored listings and ads.

Attached are screenshots of the results, and the version of Chrome being used.

What sort order are you using? I notice the "Sort" menu in your image is not populated the way it is when I search using Chrome.

I get twenty results for the search you describe in the latest version of Chrome.

I tried all the search options.  I tried logging out and searching... The only way I can fix it is if I go into advanced and choose 'Exact words, any order'.  But that isn't the default in any of the other PCs I use and they all work fine, including other PCs with the same browser version.

I get one result when searching predator cookie jar -- yours -- in the Collectibles category, by default. I get three results when searching All categories.

Are you using any browser plug-ins or add-ons?

Fixed it by deleting all the cookies.  Thanks 🙂

Glad to hear you figured it out! That was weird.
