Images issues

This morning the image uploade is experiencing some severe issues. Images don't upload on first attempt. When trying to reupload, the spinning green wheel just keeps spinning. I have to save draft, go out, get back in, select "complete draft" and then images load.

Using the editor to rotate images, it shows them correct after hitting Save, but when completing the listings, images revert back to original position. Then I have to Revise and fix images again. It has happened on the last three listings I was trying to create.

Re: Images issues

I ran into same issues also. I tried using mobile app to upload and it's fast. Just don't make the mistake of hitting "List Item" because the app has had a glitch for 3 weeks now wherein the return policy is changed to 14 days and shipping policy is changed as well to Priority. If you don't catch it, then your listing will not qualify for TRS benefit.

So after uploading pics, I hit "Save for Later" on the app then I complete the draft on the seller hub.

When I have to update pics on listed items, I have to hit "Update Listing" on the app then I revise the listing on the seller hub. It is a pain that the techs cannot fix the issues fast enough.  So much time is wasted just to finish a simple task.

Re: Images issues

Have been having the same problem for a few days so I write the title / item specifics / description and shipping info and save as draft

About 1/3 of the time when I go to add the photos to the draft I get an error in loading a photo and the page reloads

AND THE DESCRIPTION has VANISHED

SOMETIMES THE ITEM SPECIFICS AND SHIPPING INFO TOO.

Just another day on the GLITCHIEST site on the internet where the sub par programmers are totally unable to keep the site operating in a useable manner

Re: Images issues

Happening AGAIN, mysteriously at 11am EST on a Sunday. I took five days off work so I could get caught up on getting my product out to the market. NO amount of money can recoop my lost time. This is complete and utter nonsense.

Size shouldn't matter, resolution shouldn't matter. Cropping and orientation shouldn't matter. A picture is a picture. This is 2017 I'm paying eBay store fees for PERPETUAL GREEN SPINNY THINGS!

Forget drafts, forget cropping, and I'm not listing jack squat from mobile, unless it's with my laptop over my iPhone 7+ hotspot. I'm not gonna do any workarounds A-Z to get around inexcusable nonsense. I repeat, INEXCUSABLE NONSENSE!

Re: Images issues

Gallery Images.

I'm STUNNED. I've been having photo uploading problems and I notice my gallery images when one clicks on the + in a circle none of the other images show up. The main gallery image shows up. So I type in search, one of the category I have something listed in and about ONE HALF of the other listings do the same thing. Including some in the highest price (+ shipping....) range. The other day in gallery when you clicked on it a big pop up with larger pictures opened and I thought the issue had been resolved. That doesn't happen anymore in the ones that show all the photos also.

THIS IS THE XMAS SEASON. If this can't be fixed SOON, ebay needs to go back to the old listing tool until after the New Year. I'm STUNNED.  I'm STUNNED. repeat.............................................................

A friend of mine who is computer smart said it's all over the web about this new ebay engine and tons of people are having problems.

Re: Images issues

P.S.

Of all things I don't mean to stress the tech team. This was a management decision to do this b4 Xmas. I've been selling antique junk for over 25 years. There are ebay dealers I know who buy all year long just to sell during this busy season. EVERYONE saves up some items to sell at this time. MANAGHEMENT, THIS IS NOT GOOD! THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS.
