I would appreciate very much any help, but what I'm really hoping for is respond from eBay Staff.
I purchased a product which had a "guaranteed delivery" on Mar 31, but it was not sent out until mid April. Since it has passed the time I need the product, I opened an eBay Money Back Guarantee case to ask the seller not to send the product and give me a refund. The seller ignored my request and sent the product against my will after I opened the case.
Since things could not be resolved with the seller, I asked eBay to step in and presented the entire timeline of what happened and what I want. However, instead of reading the detailed facts I listed, the eBay customer support just put my case on hold till Apr.29 and the message they left was:
"The seller provided tracking that shows the item is currently on its way to you. You should receive it soon."
This is not what I was caring about at all!! I don't care if I can receive the product anymore they are just useless now! Obviously the customer support also just ignored whatever I wrote.
Now today (Apr 20), the product was delivered and I have no choice but to file a return. However, I could not open the return request because "You have already opened an eBay Money Back Guarantee case for this item."
So I have to close my current case to file the return, but when I tried to close the case I saw:
"
Are you sure?
"
Yes, I still have the problem. I am not sure if I close this case will make eBay thinks that my problem was solved and I will not be able to file the return.
Thus I am writing this to ask what should I do in this situation. If I close the case now can I still ask for a return for free and full refund??
Btw this is so far the WORST purchase and costumer service experience I have ever had. EBay even asked for my feed back of their customer service team before anything got solved.
