I can't reply to a buyer via their message

A buyer sent me an email.  I want to reply so clicked the reply button.  But I can't seem to be able to actually type a reply, only the first letter comes up.  Any suggestions?

What browser are you using?

Try another browser, or the eBay app.

If that does not help, go to the buyer's profile or feedback page and compose a new message there using the "contact" link.

If that does not work, try the same thing on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.

Try disabling the Grammarly browser add-on, if you are using it.

Or use another browser that does not have that installed to send an eBay message.
